The Twins
Double the bots, double the trouble.
The Twins
Multi-Bot Engineering
Forcing opponents to fight on two fronts
The Twins is a revolutionary multi-bot entry that challenges the fundamental combat-robotics meta.
Created by Aren Hill and Team Seems Reasonable—the team behind Tantrum and Blip—The Twins is designed to bypass the increasingly competitive ground-game arms race.
Each 125-pound robot uses real-time headset communication, powerful magnetic downforce, and proven drivetrain technology derived from Tantrum and Blip.
The drivers trained with custom computer simulator games to coordinate both machines, attack from multiple directions, and push full-size opponents into the arena walls.

Builder Spotlight
Aren Hill & Team Seems Reasonable
Team Seems Reasonable
Aren Hill and Team Seems Reasonable created The Twins to test a different answer to the heavyweight ground game: coordinated attacks from two independent machines.
The concept combines magnetic traction, fast multidirectional movement, and constant communication across a five-person drive team.
The Twins Highlights
Configuration
Dynamic Multi-Bot
Two 125-pound robots compete together as a single 250-pound BattleBots entry.
Coordination
Five-Person Drive Team
The drivers coordinate through headsets with a dedicated spotter overseeing the action.
Traction
Extreme Downforce
Each twin carries enough magnetic downforce to help it push bots several times its own weight.
Training
Simulator Trained
The drivers practiced tactical maneuvers with a custom-built 3D computer simulator.
