I might be crazy for saying this but I wouldn’t really call Roundhouse and Calypso rookie bots. They both from experienced teams so this faceoffs heat will be amazing. Who ever wins will have not had an easy path to victory

So what does Orbitron's AI do? I've seen it fight a few times now and don't see it doing anything unusual. I DO like the double vert spinners, doubling the flywheel torque for each weapon.

BattleBots I enjoyed last week's episode with more builder content and seeing the damage after some of the fights. It would be nice though to either have the full episode each week, or drop part 2 at the weekend so we're not waiting a week for just 2 fights. I think you're more likely to get good views and people coming back for future episodes if we get to see all the fights, that's what's implied in the video title as well.

Then BattleBots tells contestants you can't stop attacking if competitors bot is still moving (even if it clear they don't have a chance). Miss the "old" format for Battle Bots. Just isn't the same at all !
Tried watching it. Nowhere as good as the tv series.
Part one was so disappointing I probably won't bother with the rest of the season. 4 matches and they did not even show the whole match, just the first minute and the finish. No judges, non existent crowd determines who won. Very hard to even watch.
Can't wait for Part 2 GO Hypershock !

They need more viewership and right now they need numbers. US! We need to spread the word and help grow the numbers. I

If Tomestone put a ball or something like ( ) that on the top and the bottom of the bot that should help keep the blade from hitting the the floor after an attack from behind or sides
I absolutely cn not figure out why Ray lets the guy drive tombstone. He is HORRIBLE at it.

I hope this works out for BattleBots because it's an AMAZING alternative to Discovery. It looks SO good and it's all we've been asking for 
I love not having to deal with all the commercials that Discovery jammed into the broadcasts. Still miss Faruq, Chris and kenny, though. You can tell the team members are a little offput having to do their own little mic drop bits.

Okay, it is what it is. At least I got to see some bot battles and that is all I care. I just have to say Will Bales made a great decision turning over the reins to his wife. She is a driving beast. I would love to see her and Matt Vasquez in a head to head match in the future.

I really enjoyed watching both BattleBots and Robot Wars before that. They were the inspiration for my writing “The Boy Who Loved Robots.” You may not have given this any thought but this book will help to keep alive the whole idea of fighting robots to a wider audience. Just watched the episode. First and foremost, Absolutely LOVE battlebots, but...The production was ok, not what we're used to watching, the back stories of the bots and owners was totally different. Still, it's not the same.... Discovery needs to work with them to bring it up to what we're used to. It's just not the same without Kenny, Chris and Farouq. The Battle bot management wants to get a good contract with Discovery...All us fans need to put pressure on Discovery to work out a good deal!! To me, the "excitement" just wasn't there.

The family and I enjoyed it. Less fluff and more robot stuff without all the commercials. I would normally fast forward through all the commentary anyway. Keep it simple and pure.

It's an interesting observation that so many people are asking "When's it on TV?" For me, as a die hard fan, YouTube has been THE home robot combat for the past few years. Between NHRL, Bristol bot builders, and other events, Battlebots is a small blip on my radar these days.
You can watch YouTube on your phone. If you have a modern TV you can launch the YouTube app. If you have a game console you can find the app there too. You can also watch it on your computer. If you're that angry it's not on your giant TV you can screen cast to it. If that doesn't work you can hook up your computer to the TV via HDMI. If all those don't work I'm sorry it's 2025 and you really can't figure anything else out. Any low tier Internet plans can stream an episode of YouTube. Your phone can also hotspot Internet if you really need to. It's 2025 now.....sighhhh.

Too bad we can't watch it on TV. It was a family tradition that we miss. I really don't understand stand why we have to watch it on a computer now. Seems like a great way to lose fans.
I'm pretty sure all of us (I know I was) were completely out of pocket for these fights, so remember if you have to suffer through ads, like bears with strong TP preferences, or insurance companies that have weird mascot affixations, you're doing it because I didn't drive a 1988 school bus 1800+ miles through the mountains, and across the desert, to blow up a $1700 engine for nothing.
Yay more Battlebots in whichever format! I will admit I am going to miss Faruq's poetry and killer puns, but as long as the vicious robot action keeps going, I'm all cool!

When the show is about advanced killer robots that use a large amount of engineering and programming, yet the viewers can't even figure out how to get YouTube to work on anything available today and still complain of "slow internet".
Fantastic! Pave your own destiny and be beholden to no network. I hope the episodes are long enough to make an evening out of. My household always looked forward to Thursday nights. It was as big as football for us.

Watched the teaser fight and the editing was very slick considering the budget you're working with is probably less. I also didn't mind the ads, it's kinda cool seeing the bot builders getting to flex their acting chops

I generally find 4WD Verts to be pretty boring. Hypershock is the exception. Fast, destructive, vibrant, aesthetically pleasing, and entertaining as hell. Combine that with Will Bales being just a fun guy and you have one of my favorite bots.
I love how dominant Hypershock has been these past few years. They’ve gone from being the playful jesters… to being a serious threat in the battlebox as they tear through their opponents!
Will Bales is no longer driving HyperShock. He's officially passed the torch to his wife.
Ram-rage has kept this design in the sport, if not for that, such fragile, exposed wheels as a concept would have been obsolete long ago, much like tracks. Relying on blinkered aggression has been a rollercoaster tactic which seems to be wearing thin

Mark Thorpe, the creator of Robot Wars USA started with a remote control vacuum. To me, that is the first ever Robot Wars robot or Battlebot. Surely when he passed away it transferred ownership. Who owns it now? Is it safe?
He's awesome. Super warm and approachable. He genuinely wants the best for the sport and the kids who lean into it.
I probably won't watch. No Chris, Kenny and Faruq.
